Abstract
The ministry of CSO (Church Support Organization), a non-denominational Christian organization, was launched to support and help Sunday schools of small churches. The leading ministry of CSO is to assign and send seminary students or lay ministers to small-church Sunday schools every Sunday and to provide Christian education for the children. To supplement the regular field ministry and to maximize the effectiveness of the ministry in general, CSO is facilitating joint-events among small churches, such as a joint summer Vacation Bible School, a joint youth revival, and so on. The ministry of CSO began merely with assisting a few Sunday schools. However, each year its ministry scope is being expanded rapidly as more and more small churches are asking for help. The areas of CSO ministry now encompass providing Sunday school education, training Sunday school teachers, holding parent seminars, training worship teams, and more. To cover all these demands as much as possible, CSO has now established a network of ministers and supporters. Through CSO ministry there is now new awareness that the cooperation of churches is truly effective, useful, possible, and biblical. The author hopes that her dissertation will expedite the revitalization of small churches and enrich their true Christian experiences.
